► Today marks a slow start for a busy economic week ahead with several economic reports (mostly coming from Europe) set to be released throughout the week. Most importantly the CPI reports coming from the UK, Japan, and the Eurozone. Focus is also on the upcoming Federal Reserve policy meeting minutes for insights on potential interest rate changes.
► Stoxx 600 and US futures show little change; summer trading remains thin.
► Asian equities fell further; nearing lowest close since June. Indices from Hong Kong and China are trading more than 1% lower due to more economic downturn signals. Offshore CNY weakens amid disappointing economic data.
