► Investors are bracing for a week filled with data that could sway the market's direction, with particular attention on inflation figures (PCE on Thursday – the Fed's preferred measure of inflation) and central bank narratives.
► European are slightly lower, with the Stoxx 600 declining by 0,3%. Miners and UK homebuilders faced headwinds, with Rio Tinto and Glencore among the notable decliners due to concerns over Chinese demand and a new probe into the UK housing sector, respectively. There are headwinds for the EUR, which according to our chief analyst has been “overbought” for several sessions as expectations for interest rate cuts in Europe rise. The markets are awaiting the publication of the inflation and purchasing managers' indices for the eurozone countries later this week.
